Dear colleagues: مرحبا, bonjour & hola.
Inspired by the following sites: This SY I decided to start using Piktochart as the new trend in WL classrooms, to me at least, seems to be to showcase your syllabus as an "infographic". It does suit me as I'm almost sure that my students look at my syllabus only on the first day of school when I go over it with them. Through this initial walk-thru, we go through the most important parts that I deem for them to be necessary and valuable as part of my course overview. So, do kids actually read our lengthy syllabus? - I'm sure not! ... but displaying such highlights as an infographic deems fruitful to my class purposes. The afore-mentioned links will inspire you to revamp your syllabus presentation and perhaps "steal" an idea or two ... or ALL of them. Just think about the various ways in which you could also present information later on ... perhaps during Back-to-School night for parents (just around the corner)... or throughout the year. FYI: As of now and until the end of September, Piktochart has a 60% reduction on their yearly plan to just US$15 to browse their extensive templates ... so don't re-invent the wheel, be creative and save "time" in the process! ... btw, do check out their new template "Infographic: Course Syllabus"! Here are two of my creations based on some of the templates provided above: Loading...
... or this other one:

Have fun and please do leave me any feedback on the Piktocharts and the content itself!
Thanks in advance! ... and do follow @SraSpanglish and @clc_teachers on Twitter!
